Cinematic portraiture 

The purpose of this brief was to analyse and investigate various techniques used for lighting portraits that bring a clear sense of mood, atmosphere, space or spirit in these images. I had to create a series of portraits based on the "character portraiture" style, consisting of four or more photographs with an individual theme that was drawn from one particular brand.

I chose Gucci as my brand of choice but focussed more their perfume, Gucci Bloom. According to Gucci the perfume embodies sophistication and represents the contemporary, diverse, and authentic women of Gucci. In addition, Gucci Bloom is considered to be a blooming garden that contains numerous varieties of flowers and thus produces an intriguing fragrance.
